Current Trends of African Languages and Linguistics

Advanced International Forum

一、会议主旨

自2000年中非合作论坛成立以来，作为中国与53个非洲国家的单多边伙伴关系平台，中非之间的学术交流得到了更多促进。不少中国大学开设了非洲语言系或非洲语言公开课程。通过语言研究和教学，中国对非洲的积极态度和认识正在不断增加和推广。

Since the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC) was established in 2000 as a uni-multilateral partnership platform between China and 53 African states, more academic exchanges have been promoted between China and Africa. Not a small number of Chinese Universities now have departments or open courses in African languages. This is one of the positive trends for Africa that through the languages, the positive attitudes and awareness toward Africa have been increased and widespread.

为了加深对非洲民族志研究这一新的研究领域的认识和兴趣，我们计划邀请来自世界各地具有丰富实地考察经验的语言学家与会。在这个研讨会上，每个领域的学者将报告最新的非洲语言研究情况，并针对民族学专业的学生举办学术讲座，鼓励和促进学生对非洲研究的兴趣。

In the Department of Ethnography at Lanzhou University, little research on the African region has been conducted so far. For this reason, to deepen knowledge of and increase interest in African ethnographical studies as a new area of study, linguists with rich fieldwork experience are invited from all over the world. In this workshop, the leading scholars of each area report on the latest African language research on the first day. On the second day, they will give lectures, especially targeting to students of ethnology through fieldwork methods and experiences to encourage and promote students’ interest in African studies.

本次研讨会的议题包括（但不限于）：

(1)非洲语言和语言学研究的历史

(2)非洲语言和语言学研究的当前趋势

(3)分享非洲研究领域知名学者的实地经验

This workshop focuses on:

（1）The history of African Languages and Linguistic studies

（2）Current trends of African Languages and Linguistic studies

（3）Sharing the field experience of the leading scholars of African studies

二、会议地点：

中国·甘肃省·兰州市·兰州大学

三、会议时间：

2024年11月28日报道，29-30日会议，12月1日离会。

本次会议不收取会务费，交通、住宿费自理。
