BA of Tibet literature from Qinghai Minzu University in 1985.
MA of history from Qinghai Minzu University in 1988.
Doctor of Medicine of from China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences in 1995.
Professor of Tibetology in the Center for Studies of Ethnic Groups in Northwest China of Lanzhou University since 2004.
